Who We Are
Kirk Grizzle
Kirk Grizzle is currently the artistic director of chorus, musical theatre, and technical theatre at Denmark High School in Cumming, GA. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Georgia College & State University and a Master of Arts Degree from Piedmont College.
As a choral director, his choirs consistently receive Superior ratings at GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluations. His choirs have also performed three times at the GMEA In-Service Conference. He has had the honor of being the guest director for GMEA regional honor choirs in District 9, 13 and 14. Kirk has coached many GHSA Literary state champion quartets, trios and soloists.
Kirk Grizzle has 4 years experience teaching middle school chorus and 17 years experience teaching high school chorus.
Melissa Grizzle
Melissa Grizzle is currently the choral director at Vickery Creek Middle School in Cumming, GA. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from Georgia College & State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from Piedmont College.
Melissa's choirs consistently receive Superior ratings at GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluations. Her choirs have performed three times at the GMEA In-Service Conference. Melissa is a sought-after middle school guest clinician being invited to direct honor choirs in GMEA Districts 1, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 as well as honor choirs for Cherokee, Henry, and Forsyth counties and in Evansville, Indiana.
Melissa Grizzle has 16 years experience teaching middle school chorus.
